VILLAGE of FOUR SEASONS BARK PARK
(operated by a non-profit corporation of volunteers)

The hot spot in The Village of Four Seasons is the Bark Park. Bring the dogs over for some fun located on Cherokee Road next to the Village Hall.
Late last year Bark Park Committee members, along with some local residents, began plans on ways to rejuvenate the park! Several brainstorming meetings were held to come up with ways to 1) make the park more attractive, 2) raise money for the cost of maintaining the park, and 3) attract people to get more involved with the park (be it monetary donations, manual work or creative ideas).

Some ideas that came out of the meetings were:
  • Clean up and revamp the fencing along the front of the park.
  • Create a more attractive entrance.
  • Add dog agility stations.
  • Have a separate area for small dogs.
  • Hold fund raisers.
  • Have articles and/or media postings of dog park happenings.
  • Partake in the Four Seasons POA bi-annual garage sale (This one they did in the Fall 2017 garage sale and raised around $1,400.)
Some things that have already taken place to help the dog park with their endeavors is:
  • $500 donation from the Village of Four Seasons.
  • A lot that partially makes up the dog park was deeded over to the Bark Park by the local water company (Camden County PWSD #4).
  • Creation of additional parking next to the dog park via the purchase of land by the Four Seasons POA.
  • Donated services by Koviak Tree Service for clearing of trees on new parking lot.
  • Donated services from Cooper Siteworks for the parking lot.
Things are happening, however, there’s still more that needs to be done to reach the goals set out by the Committee.  With this park being a non-profit organization it relies solely on donations (both monetary and volunteers).  So, if you would like to be part of developing an asset to the community (whether you have a dog or not), please contact the following person via phone or mail.
