Building Permit Regulations

The Village of Four Seasons requires building permits for all new building construction, reconstruction or changes to existing structures. Building permit applications are available at The Four Seasons Village Hall, 99 Cherokee Rd. Four Seasons  M-F from 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. or on-line. Please call his office for more information or to schedule an inspection.

The following is a list of frequently asked question. Do I need a building permit for :

New roofing only-------------------------------------------no

Window or door replacement-----------------------------no

Replacement siding-----------------------------------------no

Insulation install only no construction-------------------no

Painting-------------------------------------------------------no

Building an unattached garden shed----------------------no

Building an unattached swimming pool------------------no

The above examples are only a few of the questions frequently asked, and does not cover each situation.

REMEMBER- All new building, and reconstruction of existing buildings needs a building permit and must be built to International Codes .
