AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF FOUR SEASONS, MISSOURI,  AMENDING ORDINANCE 04-03 BY REPEALING SECTION 1. OF ORDINANCE 04-03 AND REPLACING IT WITH A NEW SECTION 1.

BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Four Seasons, Missouri as follows:

Section 1. which reads as follows:

00-10 adoption of 1999 National Electric Code

02-01 adoption of 2000 International Building Code.

Inspection of Construction. 

The Village Inspector or his designate shall inspect all buildings or structures during the construction to insure that the provisions of this Ordinance and appropriate building codes are complied with.  Whenever, in his opinion, by reason of defective or illegal work in violation of a provision of this Ordinance, the continuance of a construction operation is contrary to the public welfare, he may order all further work to be suspended until conditions in violation have been remedied. 

Fees. 

The fees for building permits shall be in accordance with the following schedule and submitted along with the building permit application:

     (1)  Single-Family Dwelling Building Permit Fees:

$20,001-$100,00:

For the first $20,000.........................................................$TBA

Plus, for each additional $1,000 or fraction therefore,

$100,001 and over:

 Inspection of Construction. 

The Village Inspector or his designate shall inspect all buildings, structures, and sanitary septic systems during the construction to insure that the provisions of this Ordinance and appropriate building codes are complied with.  Whenever, in his opinion, by reason of defective or illegal work in violation of a provision of this Ordinance, the continuance of a construction operation is contrary to the public welfare, he may order all further work to be suspended until conditions in violation have been remedied. 

Engineer drawings for truss systems shall be submitted with each application for a building permit.

Fees. 

The fees for building permits shall be in accordance with the following schedule and submitted along with the building permit application:

The above referenced fees include three (3) inspections. Each additional inspection will require an additional (TBA) fee.

(3) The building Permits issued hereunder shall be displayed at all times at a PROMINENT PLACE at the construction site. Said permits shall remain the property of the Village of Four Seasons, Missouri and shall not be removed by any person without authorization from the Village Inspector.

 

(4) Any person, Firm or Corporation who violates, disobeys, omits, neglects or refuses to comply with or resists the enforcement of any of the provisions of this Ordinance shall be fined no more than Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) or Imprisoned in the Village Jail for not more than Ninety (90) days, or both fined and imprisoned.

All other portions of Ordinance 04-03 shall remain in full force and effect.

 

This Amendment to Ordinance 04-03 shall be incorporated in and become a part of Ordinance 04-03.

This Ordinance shall take effect from and after its date of passage and approval and the consent thereto by a majority of the Board of Trustees of the Village.
