AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF FOUR SEASONS, MISSOURI, ADDING TO ORDINANCE 03-06 THREE (3) NEW SUBSECTIONS REVISING THE 2002 ADDITION OF THE INTERNATIONAL BUILDING CODE, REGULATING THE DESIGN, CONSTRUCTION, AND QUALITY OF MATERIALS, INSTALLATION, ALTERATION, REPAIR, LOCATION, REPLACEMENT, USE AND MAINTENANCE OF BUILDINGS IN THE VILLAGE OF FOUR SEASONS, MISSOURI.

 

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Four Seasons, Missouri as follows:

 

Section 1 - Revisions to Code Book. The following subsections are hereby added to those contained in the International Building Code.

 

Section 404.1.1a - Notwithstanding any other provisions of the International Building Code, all masonry foundations shall be finished on exposed surfaces with stucco or a cement slurry mix of a thickness of One Eighth (1/8) inch or greater.

 

Section R703.1a - Notwithstanding any other provisions of the International Building Code, the exterior walls of all buildings shall, in addition to any siding be provided with a waterproof or water resistant exterior wall envelope as required by Section R703.2.

 

Section R602.1.1a - Notwithstanding any other provisions of the International Building Code, approved end-jointed lumber may not be used on load bearing interior or exterior walls but may be used interchangeably with solid-sawn members on non-load bearing walls.

 

All other portions of Ordinance 03-06 shall remain in full force and effect. This amendment to Ordinance 03-06 shall be incorporated and become a part of Ordinance 03-06. This Ordinance shall take effect from and after its date of passage and approval and consent thereto by a majority of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Four Seasons, Missouri.
